Yes, what would my day be without the BBC? MSNBC...I love Chris Matthew's show but the rest of it, just awful, sensationalized reporting.
I like BBC news because from what i've seen they try to be unbiased, also they cover the entire world, not just the west.
I gave up on MSNBC a long time ago. I watch Chris Matthews on NBC on Sundays but his MSNBC show lost me after he had Ann Coulter on.
My biggest disappointment is CNN, it was once such a great source for news, now they cover Paris Hilton! Ted Turner must be in tears.
Thanks for commenting!
The only thing I watch on MSGOP is Keith Olbermann's show.
I too have lamented CNN's descent from greatness to selling out to compete with Faux News.
I remember a time that if anything major was going on the first thing anyone would do is turn to CNN. Now if there is something going on I go to the internet.
I used to like Olberman, but he's became the liberal version of Bill O'Reily. I like unbiased news and commentary.
Those days are unfortunately over in the US.
I miss having people like Dan Rather, Walter Cronkite, Carole Simpson, Bernard Shaw, the late Max Robinson, and the late Peter Jennings on the air.
Monica,
I read your great post on Carole Simpson, I really miss her broadcast on Sunday evenings. I hope she'll return to the air at some point, maybe on PBS.
Yep,
As you know from the post, her daughter Dr. Mallika Marshall is a medical correspondent for 'The Early Show' on CBS.
But I do miss her.
