For some reason U.S. News & World Report, which releases a list of top colleges annually, has released a separate list for historically Black colleges and universities. As far as I know a college is a college, so I'm not sure why they compiled this list on it's own rather than including HBCU's in their regular report. Go, Spelman! When my 11-year-old was about 7, she announced that she would be attending Spelman for college to major in "beautician". Priceless statement when you consider she has attended a private, pretty pricey, all-girl school since she was 3!
