Also as you have seen if you've been visiting my blog for a while, I love cityscapes. I think the reason for that is that I have a really bad case of wanderlust (I always have). I've been planted in the area that I'm in for longer than I've lived anywhere else since I've been a adult. So I have of late been thinking about moving. I don't really feel any strong ties to this area and am constantly thinking about other locales.
So who knows maybe one day while searching online for a new cityscape I'll see a city that is irresistible and pack up and move! Stay tuned.

How exciting it must be to be able to just up and move to another location. . . It sounds appealing to "not have any ties" to a certain place. I have only been away from Memphis for 4 years (college) and I was still in Tennessee then. That was not the plan, but such is life - my life. Now, the "ties" keep me here. Oh, but one day . . .Just keep posting the pics - please.
HI Lisa,
I have slight ties to Tennessee, my older sister and a cousin went to Fisk and my dad went to Meharry. Also I had two aunts that lived in Memphis. I visited both cities when I was really young, I don't remember either.
As far as being able to get up and go, I suppose it is nice but I would trade that for stronger family ties. That's not likely though my sister has been living in Europe since I was a teen.
So you are lucky to have 'roots' keeping you in one location.
I will absolutly keep posting the pics! (lol)
