Getting comments makes my blog alive. It becomes more than just fingers to type pad it becomes interactive. My blog has become a tool to communicate. That's what I love. And it really doesn't matter if the comments agree with a point I've tried to make or disagree. I just enjoy knowing that a few people have taken the time to read my blog, which is important to me because I really put a lot of effort in to it.
Another thing I love is reading and commenting on other peoples blogs. There are so many wonderful blogs around. Some are so very serious, some are serious sometimes and not so serious other times. Some are very personal and more like diaries shared with the world.
Blogging has become a daily part of my life. It's a comforting routine. I'm sure that over time my blog will change in some ways, but the best part will always be the interaction. So to all of you who have taken the time to read my blog and comment, thanks. And to all of you who will at some point stop by and leave a comment, thanks in advance.

Ditto!! I 2nd guess myself often when I leave comments on other blogs. I don't want to sound stupid :) But I have grown to really like my "blog friends". I was so excited when you posted a pic of yourself so that I could put a face with the writing! (I've gotta post more pics, too) I agree that over time, our blogs will evolve as we evolve, and I can't wait to see what they become!
Hi Lisa,
I can't wait either. One thing that has become apart of my day is checking the new posts at my favorite blogs. I check a few before I leave in the morning and check some during the day and again when I arrive home.
Firstly, it relaxes me reading them and also I feel like I know what's going on, blogs are I think, the new Black media and the new non-corprate media.
Also, that pic isn't me. That's Sade. One of the blogs I read, Getting A Life, has a pic of Billie Holliday. So I decided to post a pic of my favorite singers over time. Sorry, I should has posted a more recognizable pic of Sade. I thought about posting one of me, but If I'm going to be able to have the nerve to post my poetry, I need a little anonymity.(lol)
LOL!! That is absolutely hilarious!! I actually mentioned to my sister not too long ago that you had posted a pic of yourself on your blog. She asked me what you looked like and I said, "She looks a lot like Sade!!!" Too funny! See what I mean about posting something stupid???
Lisa,
(lol) That is funny. And it wasn't stupid.
