PROTEST PLANNED FOR R.KELLY'S L.A. TOUR STOP: Local activists wonder why church-owned forum would sponsor accused child pornographer.
When R. Kelly's Double Up train rolls into The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday, protesters plan to be out with lighted candles and burning questions about the church-owned venue's support of an artist who faces trial on child pornography charges.

Finally! Why the protests aren't more widespread, I don't know. Wait, yes I do, I read the comments attached to that article. Ridiculous!
Tami,
Some of those comments were just ignorant. People make up anything to make themselves feel better about supporting him.
Wow, I had no idea The Forum is owned by a church. There have been lots of acts with less than spiritually inclined lyrics performing there. It's a pretty small venue. I wonder how many tickets have been sold for this show. Maybe no one is going.
Liz,
His other concerts have been selling well, so this one probably has too. It really makes you wonder about a church that would allow such a thing.
It's hard to believe none of the members had a problem with him performing there? They must really be out of touch.
