I read a post this morning by Symphony at Essential Presence about the Black Blogisphere and the conversations that are going on and the impact of those conversations. That post by Symphony reminded me of a post that is to be a series of posts at the blog UndercoverBlackman that I am finding to be very interesting. You won't see these kind of conversations on CNN that's for sure. Read the first part here; Stakes Be High, pt. 1. Read Stakes Be High, pt. 2 here. Here are two posts on the always interesting subject of hair; Light-skinned-ed Girl: Curly Hair Fears and Voice and Charcoal Ink: Afros & The Workplace.
Are you, as I am, tired of all the doom and gloom news about African America? Well here is a new blog that highlights the positive. Check it out here. Thanks Attorney Mom and Symphony for the the heads-up about this new blog.
Enjoy!

Thank for the Tradition of Excellence blog, really needed that, if you get to caught up on the media and even a lot of the black blogs you swear that black Americans where living out the Judgment Day.
CinMike,
You're welcome and I agree we need more realistic media about us. We are doing some amazing things.
