I don't normally post about a particular blog. I generally do a post called Link-O-Rama where I give links to interesting blogs I find. But I am inspired to write a post about a blog that has in the last few weeks inspired me so much.
That blog is called Essential Presence and it's blogged by Symphony. The reason I have been so inspired by Symphony's blog is because she has decided to be proactive. As I said in an earlier post, we all know what the problems are that certain parts of African American face. So we really don't need to just outline those problems anymore. We need action and workable solutions.
Essential Presence is a blog that is giving solutions. Symphony has been giving great information and solutions to problems on her blog. Everyday I look forward to visiting Essential Presence to get my daily dose of pertinent info about a myriad of things.
As I hope you all know I love all the blogs of my blog family, I think all of your blogs are extraordinary. But there are occasions when someone in an extraordinary family does something that is extra - extraordinary.
So if you haven't visited Essential Presence please stop by and stop by often as you will, as I have, benefit from the information and point of views you'll see.
Symphony; thanks for all of your hard work not only on Essential Presence but at your other blog Tradition Of Excellence as well. I wish I had one of those award graphics to give you, if I did it would be the "Extra-Extraordinary Blog Award"

You are going to make me blush. After my 6 day vacation, LOL, I found my blogging voice. I'm too all over the place to blog on one thing, and I like funny and serious.
Thank you so much. You're so kind and please, I'm addicted to your blog. Its not right! You are my inspiration on saying things short and to the point!
And thanks for plugging Tradition of Excellence. Its one of my happy places.
Symphony,
You deserve the acknowledgment. I really love what you're doing. It's truly inspirational.
And thanks, I try to be concise.
MDC,
I really love the way you show love to your peeps out here in cyberspace. It's wonderful. I will def check out Symphony's blogs very soon.
And I could learn a thing or two from you on conciseness - it's something I've struggled with my entire life. One of the drawbacks of loving words, I guess, that I wanna use as many of them as I possibly can in order to make what is essentially a very simple point.
Aaaaand there I go again. Goshdarnit!! Gonna stop now ;-)
Thanks folk, I will check her out. I respect and value your purview
Shelly,
Well being concise has its place but I love the way you use words.
I consider you a wordsmith. I love reading your writing, each word seems to have a life of its own and then they all fall in line to make one wonderful point.
Torrance,
Well thanks; I'm sure you will appreciate her blogs.
MDC,
*blushing*... Thank you so much for your kind words. It means alot to me! :-)))
