What a weird feeling it was for me to consider something as simple as not posting anything today. Since I started blogging this past August I have only missed three days of blogging. That was when I took a trip to see a friend.
Other wise I am compelled to blog. It's as much apart of my daily routine as taking a shower. I can't go a day with out a shower and apparently I can't go a day without blogging.
In a little while I'll get ready to go flea marketing. The weather is supposed to be nice and I hope to find some really nice deals. Maybe I'll find a few dvd's or another backpack to add to my collection.
Anyway it's still pretty early so I guess I'll see what's going on with my favorite blogs this morning.
So this is my version of not blogging, what's yours? Do you have a hard time not blogging too?

Own it. I've tried for months to go to some type of schedule, like blogging three days a week.
I'm too opinionated, too passionate and there is too much going on.
But life changes and you might not be able to blog like you want to one day. So, for now embrace it.
Before this year ends, I won't be able to blog as much as I do now so I'm embracing the opportunity now.
In the end, you're writing and communicating--and those are great things.
Well said, Symphony.
I got the blogging jones, too. When I started blogging in September, I was able to post maybe 3-4 times a week, but the more I read blogs, the more I have to post. I plan not to post anything and then I hit this site, or Essential Pressence or What About Our Daughters or Boring Black Chick or Los Angelista or Black Women Vote or Aunt Jemima's Revenge and you guys write something all smart and deep or witty or funny, and damn it...I find myself blogging.
See, like I've said before, it's all your fault. (lol)
Yeah...I rarely go a day without blogging. My current computer desire is to get my email inbox down to ZERO. I plan to be ruthless with the messages in the email inbox ... read, delete, forward or file. At the end of the weekend I want ZERO emails in my inbox.
We'll see...
peace, Villager
I'm fine with posting just 3-4 times a week, but I do like to comment most days, which is part of blogging too I guess. I find it extremely difficult to go a whole day without reading blogs though.
Have fun at the flea market! Lucky you on the West Coast! : )
I'm getting ready to go to Trader Joe's in a little bit and try not to freeze in the dash from my car to the store. If I can even find a parking space...
I really love blogging but my time is really tight these days and sometimes blogging falls by the wayside. I would like to post more and have even made it a goal for this year. These days it is a lot easier for me to read blogs than it is for me to post.
When I don't blog, I'm definitely reading blogs. . . I feel like a part of my day is missing when I don't even read blogs. I know that when I fail to post myself, it's usually because I am too tired after work (like I've worked a 13 hour + day) or I've got upper respiratory infection (no, literally) and it hurts to sit up!
I been blogging since Sept. I find my self posting more and more. I have to post something every day.
I feel you... now everytime I get a random thought I'm running to the computer to write a post about it.
Even when I am on vacation... I'm wondering what others bloggers are writing about whenever there is a free moment from the fun...
Its definitely addictive.
Hi MDC,
As you know my mom is here, so we took some time off and spent it at a nice suite hotel.
The second day we were there I discovered they had internet access. Free internet access. LOLOL
Luckily on Friday night and Saturday day (Sabbath)I do not use computer , phone, etc. so that's my only "relief" but I feel bad for the comments that were left there on Friday.
Symphony,
The communicating is what is addictive. I love the interaction.
If there was no way for people to leave comments I don't think I would even blog.

Tami,
I get a ton of inspiration from my favorite blogs too. Actually that makes blogging too easy sometimes. Lol
The days that get to me are when I really want to post but have writers block. I hate that!

Anali,
If I don't read blogs for a day I feel like I am missing very important information. So I know how you feel.
I had a great time at the flea market. My friend and I had the most fun just sitting on a bench and people watching.
I really like Trader Joe's, the ones here are just so claustrophobic. Are they like that there too?

Dustin,
It can be incredibly difficult to find time to blog. Soon after I started my blog I decided to blog very early in the morning, usually between 5 and 6 am.
That really helps because it doesn’t intrude on anything else, usually. Lol

Lisa,
Wow Lisa I hope you feel better soon.
JJ B,
You know I think blogging is kind of a hobby. So if you do it right it can be relaxing.
Maybe that's why you post everyday. I think that's why I post.

Eb,
I actually carry a little note pad around so when I have an idea for a post I can write it down.
You should see me waking down the street writing on my little pad. Lol

Miriam,
I hope the visit went okay for you.
Lol I bet that was a great surprise finding out about the internet service.
Yeah I notice that you and Ehav aren't around on Friday nights and on Saturday. I figured it out a few months ago. Lol
Hey MDC,
Like Dustin , although I would love to(one of my New Years resolutions) post more regularly, it seems to ebb and flow according to what is going on in my life at the moment.
I think it is important that you are compelled to write even when you are trying to take a break!
Every interesting, ever insightful!!
Hi Janie!!!
First; I hope your 2008 is going well. I miss your comments but I understand that you are busy.
I also look forward to your posts, they always inspire me.
And yeah I am compelled to blog; whether that's good or bad I'm not sure. Lol
I'm glad you had fun yesterday! Trader Joe's definitely could use more space. The aisles are so narrow. I kept bumping carts with people. It was really crowded. The line to check out snaked around a few displays, but moved surprisingly fast.
I ran into a friend of mine, so that was nice. And I found a parking space! It wasn't too far away, so I had a nice brisk walk. : )
I took a week of from Christmas Eve until Jan 2nd and just read everyone elses's blogs and enjoyed the down time.
I really have fun writing and reading. I usually have things written 5 days a week and about a week to 2 weeks in advance (I'm anal like that).
Great question.
I just started getting Blogstruck and am not as intense as others as yet. I am reading Just Judith's and Rymes with Snitch's too. I can't image reading any more as it requires loads of concentration. I'm still 2 in that department at times. Not to be confused with ADD, ok. I'm a forum junkie and have registration straight through Admin duties on about ohhhh... fiddy. (laughs)
I enjoy your time Mes Deux Cents and your patience too. I'll link yours in mine soon.
Bless
Danielle,
Two weeks in advance! Wow that is amazing. I sometimes have posts done a few days in advance. Mainly though I write my posts either the day of or the night before I post.
And that sounds nice, taking time off to just read blogs. I may try that.

Ladi Di,
I haven't really tried forum's. I've read a few though.
So you have your own forum?
