I was cold
You became the sun
I felt warm

I felt put upon by the world
I heard you laugh
I laughed too

I was frightened
I heard your voice
I was wrapped in its cocoon

I needed to feel love
You looked my way
I was free to feel

I thought my soul was lost
You were my guide
I found it
