factive - (Adjective) (linguistics, of a verb) Licensing only those content clauses that represent claims assumed to be true.
Explanation - You can't say he "discovered" that the moon is made of green cheese, because "discover" is a factive verb and the moon isn't made of green cheese.

factive -no, palindrome-yes, I love palindromes and I have read some outrageous paragraphs of them. Live, evil, lived, devil, those are my two scary ones - somewhere in that I think there must be a connection.
I play this with my kids. They never miss MOM,
DAD and HANNAH (my daughter's friend).
MDC what about BOB and STATS.
aw man i never know these words!
e.
XJ,

Just in case you're interested. Have a great week and keep on keeping on - I think Hillary is probably going to win Super Tuesday and I fear that white people will be considered racist - and yes some of us are - but let's give credit (even if it is earned) that people can look past the color of your skin to make a decision. I really think a woman represents a bigger change than a black man. One is external the other is internal. What do you think?
I've heard both terms, just never used them. Here's a sentence seen on Wiki
fall leaves after leaves fall
An for words - tenet, gig, pip, pup. pap. I guess the last 4 count as full words and not abbreviations??
and this is all the brain feels like now.
XJ,
"I really think a woman represents a bigger change than a black man."
With America's history of hatred toward African Americans I can't agree with that statement.
OMG! Thanks so much for the link for Palindromes!
You have a great week too and be careful! :)
