From the people who brought you Sweet & Low and the Tuskegee Experiment, comes cloned meat! That 's right your government, the Food and Drug Administration, several months ago approved the selling of cloned meat for human consumption. So very soon you will be able to go to your local grocer and buy Daisy the cow's cloned daughter, Daisy.
If that were not enough the FDA will not make meat sellers label cloned meat as such. So you will have no way of telling if meat is cloned or natural.
I say you because I'm now (as of today) officially a vegetarian. I've been trying vegetarianism out for about the last 5 or 6 months. I figure now is a really good time to become a permanent vegetarian with Daisy the cloned cow coming to market.
The FDA says they think, well they are pretty sure, that eating cloned meat will cause no health problems in humans. When I say sure I mean they are at least as sure as they were when they unleashed saccharine on Americans 30 or 40 years ago. And as I'm sure you know, saccharine causes cancer.
So the question is; are you willing to become a guinea pig for the FDA? Will you eat cloned meat?
I wonder what's next? Have you seen the film Soylent Green?
